This is not just a plectrum β itβs a concept I pioneered in 2020.
Traditionally used in knife-making for decorative handle scales, aerospace-grade aluminium honeycomb sheets have never before been adapted for guitar picks. I was the first to dΓ©tourne this material, creating an entirely new application through experimentation and craftsmanship.
Each piece is infused in-house with resin, forming a composite that is both rigid and lightweight, offering excellent attack and responsiveness. The hexagonal core, made from aluminium used in the aerospace industry, adds both structural integrity and a distinct aesthetic.
This isn't an outsourced sheetβitβs a handmade material, created by me in my workshop. Every pick is the result of a meticulous, hands-on process. And while the science is serious, I like to think the bees from the hills du 'Chablais Vaudois' here in Switzerland may have inspired this design just a littleβ¦
