This is not just a plectrum, it is a concept I pioneered in 2020.
Traditionally used in knife-making for decorative handle scales, aerospace-grade aluminium honeycomb sheets had never been adapted for guitar picks. I was the first to détourne this material, creating an entirely new application through experimentation and craftsmanship.
Each piece is infused in-house with resin, forming a composite that is both rigid and lightweight, offering excellent attack and responsiveness. The hexagonal core, made from aerospace-grade aluminium, provides both structural integrity and a distinctive aesthetic.
This is not an outsourced material. It is entirely handmade in my workshop. Every pick is the result of a meticulous, hands-on process. And while the science is serious, I like to think the bees from the hills of the Chablais Vaudois here in Switzerland may have inspired this design just a little.
